Giulia is an Italo-Brazilian multidisciplinary researcher and creative director passionate about inclusivity & innovation within the fashion system and beyond.

About

Born and raised in Como, my creative roots in textiles and materials lead me to approach Fashion as a system. I have been fortunate to practice in the Futures Research industry for 5+ years from Visual Research to CMF Insights across Fashion and Interiors.

I am the creative director of Doyenne, a women-run skateboarding brand co-founded in Glasgow in 2017 with a focus on inclusivity.

Since finishing my studies, I dedicated my practice to researching and co-creating regenerative futures. My approach adopts various mediums such as photography, creative direction, graphic design and creative production for the development of new languages within the sensorial realm, and explore their potential to encorage a deeper and embodied perception of our collective interbeing within the ecosystem and the design industry.
